Tall Men's Fashion
As we traverse through the final month of Summer (such a fleeting season isn’t it?) I want to touch on a subject that constantly makes endless rounds through my dms. Couples fashion, more specifically how Lawrence and I curate ensembles to complement one another, is probably one of the top 5 questions we get asked. To get even more to the point, when I got married I not only inherited a husband but one with quite the height. Towering in at 6 feet 5 inches, Lawrence comes with very specific clothing concerns. Shorts are almost always too short, shirts more often than not must be custom ordered, and don’t even get me started on suits. Obviously with so many accommodations needed to produce a proper look for Lawrence the two of us have discovered a few amazing places where fashion for tall men comes standard.
Express
I bet you didn’t know Express has quite the collection of items that come in tall sizes. Both the top and shorts Lawrence is wearing in the above photo come from Express and he loves this easy summer ensemble. His other top picks are these shorts and this polo .
H&M
Another go-to shop for basics and the occasional fabulous find, H&M has recently produced an assortment of long-fit t-shirts that Lawrence has in every single color offering. These 2-pack t-shirts are great basics for any tall man’s wardrobe.
Asos
Asos men’s department has a category solely dedicated to tall men. Lawrence has this jacket in 3 colors thus far and I’m sure he’ll get more. This style of shirt is perfect for taller men, and this jacket (a staple piece that is so hard to find for men of a particular height) is going to be in our closet soon I’m sure.
I hope that this entry offers not only a great starter guide for tall men but also continues the necessary conversation of inclusion. Tall men love fashion and want to be able to express themselves in an easily accessible way just like everyone else. As more brands make clothing for tall men a priority, fashion as a whole moves fabulously forward, and magnanimous men like Lawrence can take up space with confidence.
