Spring's It Fragrance
Spring is the season of fresh florals. All around the world, Mother Earth opens up and blesses us all with her beauty and ethereal aroma. Floral is most definitely my favorite fragrance profile and over the years I have gravitated to Dior Fragrances for that very reason. When selecting a good Spring fragrance one should always search for 3 key elements:
The fragrance is an Eau de Toilette and not a perfume ( A perfume is too heavy for the warmer seasons)
Consider the notes of the fragrance- If you’re not a fan of sandalwood or citrus, why would you purchase a fragrance with those notes in it? Knowing the notes in a fragrance allows you to make an informed and personal decision that’s best for you.
Determine how the fragrance settles- Have you ever tried a fragrance on in the store and a few hours later, it smells completely different than when you initially put it on? Whether positive or negative, the way a fragrance “settles” on our skin matters. Some notes don’t settle well on our skin and that’s ok. I personally have yet to have a Dior fragrance leave me feeling unsettled.
